In a news that was published by the Arise Television yesterday evening, it was reported that a top source in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has revealed the names of the two leading politicians, jostling for the position of the Director-General of the PDP’s Presidential Campaign Council.
Information that was given by Arise Television made it known that, barring any unforeseen circumstance, the PDP will hold its National Executive Committee (NEC) and National Caucus meetings in Abuja next week Wednesday and Thursday respectively, in order to deliberate on the person that would be picked as the DG of the Campaign Council and other members council.
However, a source said that, the two people who are presently being considered for the position are the former Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki and the governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal.
More information made it known that 3 weeks ago, the party’s National Caucus and NEC meetings, were postponed because of the ongoing rift between Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Governor Nyesom Wike.
