NAP 4-1 LIV: What Klopp Said After Being Asked If He’s Worried About Getting Sacked Like Tuchel

Jurgen Klopp‘s side suffered a defeat against Napoli in their first UCL game, and were unable to claim any points from the match. Napoli ended up creating 9 big chances, equalling Liverpool‘s own record for the most against a single opponent in that same time frame. Regardless of this, Liverpool FC are equally struggling in the EPL, having drawn 3 games, winning 2 and losing 1. 

As regards this, Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp was questioned in an interview after the match against Napoli if he was afraid of getting sacked just like Tuchel at Chelsea. Recall that Thomas Tuchel was sacked on Wednesday by Todd Boehly after his side was defeated by Dynamo Zagred in the UCL.

However, Jurgen Klopp admitted during the interview that his team played really badly, adding that Napoli played better than them.

Klopp, however, revealed that he is not worried about getting sacked, pointing out that the owners are calm and patient with him.

“Not really, this is not the case. Our owners are rather calm and expect me to sort out the situation and not think someone else will, “Klopp said.”
