Nkechi Blessing bashes critics of ‘dildo’ souvenirs at mom’s remembrance

Actress Nkechi Blessing has hit back at critics who carpeted her for sharing ‘dildo’ as souvenirs during the remembrance service of her mother.

Many were outraged after the actress shared a video where she distributed ‘dildo’ to guests.

Over the weekend, the film star hosted prayer/party in remembrance of her mother, Gloria Obasi Sunday who died on September 22, 2021.

She gladly distributed ‘dildos’ even as the ladies could be seen scrambling to grab her ‘well-thought out’ souvenirs meant ‘to help the single ladies who don’t have partners’.

They criticised Nkechi, noting it was the height of disrespect to the memory of her late mom.

But she advised her critics to go care for their parents because she did that for her late mom when she was alive and she was much proud of her.

The 33-year-old movie star maintained she was at liberty to share whatever she deemed fit at her event

She wrote: “My own mother that gave birth to me died on September 22nd 2021…23rd 2022 I had her quiet remembrance and Prayers, went to the streets and gave out food and water, nobody kuku hear anything..

“25th was my mother’s birthday hence the cake and a little party to host few friends.. Not like you all deserve any explanations what I choose to do with my own life…Cus when we Dey suffer/hungry I no see any of una. So make all of una try rest.

“Even people wey don forget their parent’s wey never die sef dey talk… na me? Everyone around me knows I don’t joke with my family…

“If you feel offended throw your own party and share whatever…I took care of my mother with everything I had while she was here, no be you go tell me say my own mama go vex for me you Dey whyne me? Taaaa!!!

“Coming from people who baked cake for Queen Elizabeth that does not even know you exist.. Abeg! Mtchewwwwwwwww

“My own mother ooo I don’t know about urs, was super proud of me while alive and even in death.. Go and take care of your own parents.”
