Nigeria’s renowned businessman, Obi Cubana, on Monday morning, took to his official Instagram page to speak on self-assessment and reflections.
The billionaire, in an article he titled “Self Assessment and Reflections,” also urged students affected by the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ ongoing strike to make the most of their time at home by developing themselves.
He wrote, saying, “Dear Youth! … I believe we should at some points in our lives pause, look back, take stock of what we’ve done so far, and the direction of our life’s journey.”
Self-assessment is the best assessment anyone should have, as it’s rare to lie to yourself. Is your life going the way it should?
Are you doing what you feel is morally right, or are you living for other people? What footprints are you leaving for the people following behind?
Are you satisfied with the present status of your life? Is there anything within your powers you need to do to enhance your life at this point?
Even as some students are home due to the needless strike, what are you doing with your own time? Are you enhancing your life positively in any way within your power?
“Remember, life is a journey, and most of life’s choices are yours to make..” he added partly.
