While the reconciliation between Atiku Abubakar and Nyesom Wike is still on going, members of Wike and Atiku’s camp have had some word tussle as Wike camp is insisting that Senator Ayu resigns as the National Chairman of PDP.
Nyesom Wike who was absent at the meeting Atiku Abubakar held with PDP aspirants and other stakeholders in Niger State has taken a swipe at Aliyu Babangida who said that he (Wike) is angry bitterly because he lost the party’s presidential ticket to Atiku Abubakar.
While addressing his people in Port Harcourt, Wike said that Aliyu Babangida got it wrong when he said he is aggrieved because he couldn’t get the presidential ticket of the party, and that it is the same Aliyu Babangida who said on Television that ten (10) Northern Governors agreed to fail Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 presidential election, because they (the Northerners) all said it was the turn of the North to rule.
Wike said that Aliyu Babangida is the same man who revealed that they worked against Jonathan all because they want a Northerner to emerge as President.
