PDP Crisis: They Say I’m Now Tinubu’s Man But When Govs Were Decamping I Never Did- Fayose Speaks

Former governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose has dismissed reports suggesting that he is working for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu. He made this known while speaking as a special guest during the inauguration of a secondary school in Rivers State.

Hear him, “They say Fayose is now Tinubu’s man, but when sitting governors were decamping, I never did. Some people believe that they have to destroy their leader before they can rise but if you are destroying any leader you can’t rise”

It would be recalled that Ayodele Fayose has been accused of working against the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar given his preference for the emergence of a president of Southern extraction. Recall that sometime in June, Ayodele Fayose in a post released on his Twitter handle, noted that in 2023, it must be southern presidency or nothing.

However, during the event, Ayodele Fayose said he is optimistic that the party will come together because winning elections is the ultimate adding that they can do better than they are doing.
