It is no longer news that the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, has not been settled. It should be recalled that the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and Governor Wike, have been fighting each other, over the leadership of the party.

However, some chieftains of the All Progressives Congress APC, have spoken about the crisis, rocking the Peoples Democratic Party PDP. One of the APC Leaders, who has spoken about APC crisis, rocking the party, is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

It was reported by Legit.ng news that Tinubu said that PDP, that cannot settle their internal crisis, are aiming to win the forthcoming presidential race.

Tinubu stated this at opening of Tinubu/Shettima door to door campaign which started in Abuja yesterday. The APC presidential candidate, also described PDP as Poverty Development Party.

Another APC chieftain who has spoken about the PDP crisis is Osita Okechukwu. Okechukwu said the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, has boxed itself into retrievable tight corner.

He stated this when he fielded reporters questions on Sunday in Abuja. He said that instead of PDP to sit down and address the various challenges, confronting the party, the PDP leaders were busy passing the buck and blaming the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.

It should be recalled, that Mr Simeon Imobo’Tswam, who is the special adviser on Media and communication to the PDP chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu had cited posts, purportedly credited to APC, insinuating that he said that he cannot take on, a man that cannot father a child and other innuendos.

Okechukwu lambasted Ayu for accusing APC of sponsoring mischievous posts against him. He dismissed the insinuations that APC was fuelling the PDP crisis and urged Ayu to avoid buck passing and blame game, stressing that doing so amounts to transfer of misplaced aggression.

It should be recalled that Governor Wike, had earlier demanded that Iyorchia Ayu, should resign his position as national chairman of the party, for reconciliation ahead of the forthcoming presidential race.
