Peter Obi Reacts On The Court Conviction Of His Presidential Campaigns DG.

On Monday, a Federal high Court sentenced the Labour Party’s presidential Campaigns DG, Dr. Doyin Okupe to prison terms with option of fines.
Following this, Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, reacted that, the conviction of Doyin Okupe, would not demoralize him, and that it would not break his resolve to be Nigeria’s president come 2023.
Obi stated this on Monday, during an interactive session with journalists in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital, saying that, he is undaunted by the conviction of Doyin Okupe over alleged money laundering.
He said, “I am hearing about it just like you. I am studying what is coming out of the courts and everything. I believe the rule of law. It is not going to demoralizing me”.
