The former Governor of Jigawa state, Saminu Turaki in an interview with Arise TV has spoken about the 2023 election and the chances the Presidential candidates have against the Election. Senator Turaki just as most people alleged that the Presidential race is between Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Abubakar Atiku. According to him, these are the top two political parties in Nigeria.
While speaking on the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, Senator Turaki asserted that he’s not going to criticize him because he shares the same ideology with him. However, Senator Turaki argued that Peter Obi should have picked a strong Politician as his Vice President. He queries the political strength of Datti Baba Ahmed.
When being asked about the chances of Peter Obi in the North West, Senator Turaki shook his head negatively on Obi’s getting votes from the region. He alleged that the battle is between Tinubu and Atiku.
