In the state’s Oshimili North Local Government Area’s Okpanam Community, police officers in Delta have found a baby factory.
Three pregnant women were also rescued from the factory by SID agents, according to DSP Bright Edafe, the state police command’s spokesman, who made the announcement in a statement on Thursday in Asaba.
Acting on information, agents of the State Investigation Department attacked a baby factory in Okpanam village, Oshimili North LGA, on July 10, 2022, at around 7.30 p.m.
“The operatives rescued three pregnant women while two suspects; Promise Ejogu and Aruna Sulieman, were arrested.
“Information gathered by the police revealed that one of the suspects, Promise Ejogu, is a brother to the ringleader of the syndicate.
“The syndicate kept the women and engages them in sexual activities to get them pregnant.”
