Presidential aide reacts to media claim that the Emir of Qatar rejected PMB’s request to visit Qatar

Bashir Ahmad who is the special assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on digital and new media has reacted to a media claim by Sahara Reporters that the Emir of Qatar Plrejected the request of President Muhammadu Buhari to visit Qatar.
According to the media claim by Sahara Reporters, The Nigerian government had proposed September 11 and 12, 2022 for President Buhari to visit the country but the Emir in a note asked for other dates in 2023.
However, reacting to the above media claim, Bashir Ahmad stated categorically that the report by Sahara Reporters has an incorrect headline while revealing that Qatar did not reject President Muhammadu Buhari’s request to visit Qatar. He then went on to reveal that the whole adjustment to the request made by President Buhari to visit Qatar all boils down to diplomacy and some necessary protocols that out to be observed before the scheduled visit takes place.
