Presidential Ambition:There Is No News Now, But There Will Be News – Godwin Emefiele.

Dateline: Abuja: Godwin Emefiele, Central Bank Governor, on Thursday told Nigerians to expect news on his rumoured presidential bid and president Buhari’s directive for appointees contesting in the 2023 elections to resign.
He made this point in a chat with newsmen, after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, but, refused to give a direct answer when asked if he would obey the president’s directive.
According to him: “There is no news now, but there will be news. You heard me, I said there is no news but there will be news,” he said.
The apex bank governor also said he is having fun over the controversy generated by his rumoured presidential bid.
“Let them have heart attack; it’s good to have heart attack; I am having a lot of fun,” he jokingly.
