Years after years, one of the longest lived monarch has been on the mouth of many both old, young, big and small. Queen Elizabeth is one of the most respected monarchs globally. Unfortunately, the majestic monarch died recently.
Queen Elizabeth was born in 1926 and has been the queen of England since 1952 making her the longest monarch to have ruled England. Queen Elizabeth was married to Prince Philip who died in 2021 at the age of 99.
The late monarch was survived by 4 children including Prince Charles who will be succeeding him very soon.
The announcement of her death was made public by Buckingham palace. A statement by Prince Charles lll reads:
“The death of my beloved mother Her Majesty the Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family. We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother. I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.”
