The Teranga Lions of Senegal came through as the first African country to win a game in the ongoing world cup matches, in the Arabian country of Qatar.
The Senegalese beat their host opponents three goals to one. This defeat leaves the host country, with a slimmest of chances to progress to the next stage of the tournament.
