The former senator, Shehu Sani has taken to his verified Twitter page to react as the Ondo government places a N50,000 bounty on kidnappers and other criminals.
Recall that it was reported that the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has placed N50,000 as a reward for anyone who reveals or reports incidents leading to the apprehension of kidnappers or other criminal elements in the state.
While reacting to this, the outspoken activist, Shehu Sani tweeted some minutes ago to commend the model way the government of Ondo state was rewarding people who expose kidnappers with N50,000.
Adding to his statement, Shehu Sani said everything must be put in place to safeguard the identity of the whistleblowers so that criminals will not attack them for exposing them.
In his tweet, Shehu Sani wrote below:
“The Ondo model of rewarding people who blow the whistle on kidnappers with 50k is commendable. However, everything must be done to protect the identity of the whistle blowers.”
