The former senator that represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani, has reacted, hours after the death of Queen Elizabeth, making it known that the bitter and uncomplimentary remarks against Queen Elizabeth after her death differs in both the northern and southern parts of the country.
According to the former lawmaker, he stated it clearly that in the northern parts, the attack is laced with religious sentiments, while in the south, the attacks are attached to the monarchy’s role in the history of slavery and colonialism.
Ending his tweet, Senator Shehu Sani made it known that to both the north and the south, the Queen left behind for them an assembly of tribes in a nation called Nigeria.
Since the death of Queen Elizabeth II was announced yesterday, several Nigerians, both Northerners and Southerners have reacted differently. Some people celebrated her, while others criticised her because of some reasons best known to them. But the fact still remains that the queen lived a fulfilled life and died happily.
