A Former Vice Chancellor at Wesley University in Ondo State, Professor Tola Badejo has slammed the Federal government on the ‘No Work, No Pay idea in an interview with Channels TV. The Professor who’s currently lecturing at the University of Obafemi Awolowo University has alleged that the Federal Government cannot say they do not have money to pay Asuu.

According to him, the Federal Government bought cars recently for the Niger Republic as a support to them while Nigeria students are at home doing absolutely nothing. The Professor argued that the No work, no pay can never work with ASUU. He identified that all staff are working every day despite the strike. He discloses that the teaching in the classroom is the only thing Lecturers are not doing at the moment, other school activities are being run internally.

Professor Badejo believes if the Federal Government could buy cars for the Niger Republic, then it should be able to source out money to finance and revitalize its state education.
