The weekend went off to an amazing start in the football world. Clubs were back to the pitch for another set of matches. Although these clubs played mid week matches, they had to return for another set in order to fill in for the FIFA World Cup.

In this article, we will look at Three Big Teams which dropped points after playing 1-1 in their respective leagues. We shall also look at how the 1-1 draw affected them on their different league tables.

Aston Villa vs Manchester City: (1-1)

The first half ended 1-1 as goals from Sheraldo Becker and Joshua Kimmich were the only goals of the first half. The match ended that way as no other goal was scored.

With this result, Bayern Munich lost their lead. They moved down to the third position having dropped 4 points.

These three clubs were affected by their 1-1 results. It also affected their statistics on the league tables. With more matches to be played, these clubs will definitely look forward to bounce back.
