Three Managers Who Could Replace Thomas Tuchel At Chelsea.

[ad_1]

Chelsea has officially sacked Thomas Tuchel today following their underwhelming performances in the last few games.

The decision came following their 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia yesterday in the Champions League. The German tactician lead Chelsea to their second Champions League title, Super Cup and Club World Cup respectively. We are going to take a closer closer look at the possible candidates who would replace Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea.

Mauricio Pochettino

Mauricio Pochettino is currently a free agent after he was sacked by Paris Saint-Germain back in the summer after failing to win the Champions League trophy. But despite that, he is widely regarded as one of the best managers in the world. He had a fantastic performance in the premier league especially at Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur. He took Tottenham up to the second position in the premier league and in the process qualifying them for the Champions League. He also took Tottenham Hotspur up to the Champions League final in which they lost against Liverpool in 2019. As it stands now, he is likely to be one of the candidates for the coaching job at Chelsea. Mauricio Pochettino would be a very good option for Chelsea at this very moment.

Graham Potter.

Graham Potter is another possible candidate for the coaching job at Chelsea. He is currently the coach of Brighton and has so far performed wonderfully well with the team. He has been very impressive during his time at Swansea before he joined Brighton. Since then, he has helped Brighton to consolidate their place in the premier league and they have been impressive so far this season beating the likes of Manchester United in the first match of the 2022/23 premier league season. Some reports claim that Chelsea has made contact with the 47 year old and may discuss s potential deal with him this Wednesday.

Zinedine Zidane.

Zinedine Zidane is widely regarded as one of the best managers in the world following his huge spell at Real Madrid. He won three Champions League trophies and two La Liga titles as well. He was previously linked to a move to Paris Saint-Germain back in the summer but it couldn’t work out because of his desire to coach the French national team. As it stands now, anything is possible as Chelsea may still contact the Frenchman as a possible replacement for Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea.
