The National Leader and presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Tinubu, has denied ownership of the Oriental Hotel and other assets in Lagos State, PUNCH reports.
According to PUNCH, speaking in an official documentary posted on Twitter by Jibril Gawat, a media aide to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, the APC‘s presidential candidate said that contrary to the allegation that he owned the Oriental Hotel and other assets in Lagos State, he only created an economic pathway for the State.
This is as Bola Tinubu added that the Oriental Hotel was a refuse dump and miles of refuse along that corridor. He also stressed that it took several months of excavation and great investment for the investors to take the risk of reforming the area, said “Majority of those assets they claim are mine are not mine. I create(ed) economic path, a recovery part for Lagos State”.
