Atiku Can’t Deny Wike’s Contribution -Fayose

Former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, on Friday, asked the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and other party stakeholders to do more to unify the PDP in order to win the 2023 elections.
This is as he said Atiku and other party members, including officials cannot deny the contribution of the Rivers governor to the survival of the opposition party after losing the 2015 presidential election to the All Progressives Congress.
Fayose spoke as a special guest at the inauguration of the Community Secondary School, Obuama in Degeme Local Government Area of Rivers State on Friday.

US President, Joe Biden has led international tributes in mourning the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
The British’s longest-reigning monarch died on Thursday at the age of 96 at her Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
Biden in a statement said the Queen was a steadying presence and a source of comfort and pride for generations.

Bishop Francis Wale Oke, President of The Sword of The Spirit Ministries International has urged Nigerian youths planning to leave Nigeria for greener pastures to halt their plans.
The popular clergy who spoke while leading his congregation in prayer for the nation during a sermon at the church’s Headquarters located in Ibadan City, Oyo State, lamented the recent exodus of Nigerians out of the country.
The man of God said running away from the issues bothering the country may not help, stressing that the youths should be courageous to fight the enemies of Nigeria.
Amotekun Arrests 243 Suspects In Two Years In Ekiti

The Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN) codenamed “Amotekun” says it has arrested no fewer than 243 suspects over various offences in its two years of operations in Ekiti.
Joe Komolafe, the Commandant of WNSC in Ekiti, disclosed this in Ado-Ekiti on Friday while briefing journalists on the activities of Amotekun since its establishment in the state.

The embattled gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Plateau State, Yohanna Margif has declared that he remains the only candidate of the party recognised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) come 2023.
He said he remains the authentic flagbearer of the LP in the State, having been presented with the Certificate of return after the primary election conducted a few months ago.
He vowed not to relinquish the governorship ticket to anyone.
