APC Mocks Ayu Over Rift With Wike

The All Progressives Congress has mocked the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Iyorchia Ayu, over his rift with Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
In a statement on Tuesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC said the Benue-born politician should leave the ruling party out of the mess in the PDP.
Wike and Ayu have been at loggerheads since former Vice President Atiku Abubakar won the presidential ticket of the main opposition party.
Ex- Edo Assembly Speaker Elizabeth Ativie dumps APC

The lingering crisis in the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Edo State, has again cost it one of its leading members, Mrs. Elizabeth Ativie.
Ativie was a former Deputy Speaker and the only woman who have presided on Edo House of Assembly.
She spent a total of 12 years as a State lawmaker, with her first four years was on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the last eight years on the platform of the APC.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State says he cannot be bought over by any politicians with regard to the 2023 general elections, insisting that he does not want any appointment at the federal level.
Wike, who has been at daggers drawn with the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, maintained that his support for PDP had never been in doubt since 1999.
He, however, claimed that the state had never benefited from any of the federal government’s projects throughout the PDP administration and in the present one led by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Just In : 2023: APC sends staff on leave as Tinubu visits ‘Buhari House’

The ruling All Progressives Congress APC has sent most of its staff on a one-day leave as part of measures to decongest the ‘Buhari House’ national secretariat of the party in preparation for the maiden visit of the presidential candidate of the party.
Tinubu had days after his emergence as the standard bearer of the party in June been slated to visit the secretariat, but the visit was later postponed.
However, on Tuesday, Vanguard gathered that Tinubu would now visit the party on Wednesday.
