Gunmen Attack Labour Party Meeting In Enugu

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, gunmen suspected to be political thugs loyal to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have reportedly attacked members of the Labour Party during their meetings in Enugu State.
Sahara Reporters gathered that the attacked happened on Sunday during Ward meetings at Aninri and Awgu local government areas of the state.
Sources told Sahara Reporters that whil nobody was killed in the attack, some people were injured while their cars, chairs and canopies were vandalised.
The LP governorship candidate, Hon Chijioke Edeoga, confirmed the attack on the party members.

Ayodele Warns Peter Obi

The leader Of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has said the camp of the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi should be careful of big names.
Primate Ayodele said some big names would defect to LP to destabilize the party.
He warned that some big names don’t mean well for the Labour Party ahead of the 2023 elections.
In a statement signed by his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele said Obi can pull surprises during the presidential election.

Bandits in Katsina State have ‘arrested’ a scavenger found with stolen items in a village.
The middle-aged man specialized in pulling out metal rods and removing iron bars from deserted buildings.
The bandits narrated how they caught the suspect while on a ‘patrol’ of the area on their motorcycles.
In a video obtained by PRNigeria, they paraded the scavenger and his loot packed inside a cart before a community leader.
The group, armed with different firearms, further lectured the thief about the dangers of stealing.
