Aisha Yusuf is a social crusader. An undiluted one at that. She shot into international prominence with the kidnapping of school girls at a town called Chibok in Borno State, North East of Nigeria in 2014.
Aisha in conjunction with like minds, organized themselves into a pressure group called #BringBackOurGirls. They sat out at several strategic locations under adverse weather across Nigeria, especially, Abuja, to draw international focus to the evil of forcefully adopting over 200 young women and denying them of the love of their immdiate families by an Islamic terror group – Boko Haram.
While that crusade is still partially on, Aisha Yusuf recently, took up the assignment of the enthronment of a society, that walks for the overall betterment of every single citizen come 2023. To this end, Aisha is of the opinion that, Nigeria must make a clean break with the past, by electing a leader with proven record of capacity, incorruptiblility and competence. She found Peter Obi of the Labour Party, with those credentials.
