We Are Angry About Using Diaspora Fund For Elections, We Are Not Angry About Using Public Fund- Sani

2023 General Elections are around the corner, many facts have begun to emerge as far as political parties’ campaign funds are concerned.

It seems Senator Shehu Sani is in the same school of thought with Aisha Yesufu, as far as diasporan funding of political parties’ campaigns are concerned.

Recall, few days ago, the popular Nigerian female human rights activist, Mrs Aisha Yesufu took to her Twitter handle to called on Mrs Abike Dabiri, a Special Assistant to President Buhari on Nigerians in diaspora, to concentrate efforts on Dubai issues rather than talking about diasporans donating to political candidates.

Meanwhile, the Kaduna based human rights activist and former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the upper chamber of the national assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has taken to his official Twitter handle to react to this development.

Shehu Sani said, what an irony? People are angry about using diaspora funds for elections, but people are not angry about using public funds for the same elections.
