The Russia-Ukraine war has brought many Ukrainian citizens together as a team in the military department. Many of the soldiers are civilians who don’t have thorough military training as a soldier. But they came together as a team in other to defend their country and family from the Russian invaders who first attack the cities. Both young and old made themselves available and from their cooperation, the Russians were unable to occupy their capital.
According to Kyiv Post, a Ukrainian soldier revealed how he joined the Ukrainian armed forces with his brother. He said that when the war started he was moved to fight after he realized that staying at home is not enough until he takes arms. He joined the Ukrainian force alongside his brother, leaving his wife and daughter at home. His purpose for joining the force is to create a peaceful atmosphere for his family.
While speaking he revealed that they have defended and burned out the Russian enemies mercilessly. Adding that the Russians did not expect that the Ukrainians can resist them. He also added that the Ukrainian military tanks and soldiers have roasted Russian troops without mercy.
