The presidential candidate of the AAC, Omoyele Sowore has sparked mixed reactions following his recent comments regarding the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi. While speaking in an interview with Wazobia Max, a question was raised asking to know if he was jealous of Peter Obi.
Responding to the question, Sowore said that he can’t be jealous of someone he helped to secure his presidential candidacy at the Labour Party. According to Sowore, the lawsuit he used in winning back his party is what helped Peter Obi to maintain his ticket at the Labour Party.
He said;
“How will I be jealous of someone that as of two months ago, I was the one that helped him with the lawsuit that I used in winning my party back, it was the lawsuit they used and help him to remain on the platform.
I gave him the paperwork from our lawsuit we won at the court of appeal from our party to help him stay on the Labour Party ticket”.
“It was the lawsuit I gave to him that made him stay, if I’m jealous of him why would I give him paperwork.”
Speaking further on the candidate of the youths, he said that all the youths cannot support a particular candidate as he made mention of southwestern youths, northern youths, niger delta/south south youths, and youths who are Biafran supporters.
