National publicity secretary of the people’s democratic party, Debo Olugunagba has explained why it is taking too long to resolve the issues in the people’s democratic party currently.
According to Debo Olugunagba, the PDP is a political party which has organs, processes, constitution, rules and regulations which guide the party in its operations. Because of these various structures and processes that issues will need to pass through before a decision can be arrived at, the current issues facing the people’s democratic party seem to be taking too long to resolve.
Debo Olugunagba compared the people’s democratic party to the ruling party in terms of party organs and structure. According to Debo Olugunagba, the all progressives congress has no national executive committee, no organs and no board of trustees, that is why the APC seems to faster than the PDP in resolution of issues as opined by some people.
You will recall that the people’s democratic party has been experiencing an internal crisis since the emergence of the presidential and vice presidential candidates of the party.
