In 2023, Elections will take place all over Nigeria in order to enable the citizens of this great country to elect the politicians and political parties that will be in power. Out of all the political offices that politicians and political parties will be vying for, the office of the President of Nigeria is undoubtedly the most coveted. All the the political parties that will participate in the 2023 presidential election has announced their flag bearers, consequent to this, interviews and discussions are being held frequently to discuss the prospect of the politicians and political parties that will be participating in the election.
During an interview with Arise News, Honourable Patrick Obahiagbon stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) are the only political parties that are in the race.

Apc and Pdp are undoubtedly the two biggest political parties in the country, this is what probably made Honourable Patrick Obahiagbon to believe that they are the only political parties in the presidential race, however, Honourable Patrick Obahiagbon failed to realize that other political parties other than Apc and Pdp have started gaining popularity. Recent events in the country suggests that several other political parties are trying to increase their popularity in order to stand a good chance of winning the 2023 presidential election, their flag bearers have been talking about their plans for Nigeria and some of their supporters have been organizing rallies that have been successful and had large turnout of people.
Personally, i believe the 2023 presidential election will be keenly contested between all the political parties in the country, the outcome of the election is difficult to predict because all the parties stand a chance of emerging as the winner.
