Suleiman Yahaya-Kwande, a former representative from Plateau State’s Bassa/Jos North Federal district, has left the All Progressives Congress (APC) in advance of the 2023 elections.
Yahaya-Kwande expressed his unhappiness with party developments in a letter dated July 4, 2022, sent to the APC Chairman in his Jenta Adama ward.
The politician’s treatment in the choice of a running mate for the party’s governorship candidate in Plateau State, Nentawe Yilwatda, was allegedly unsatisfactory.
In place of the two-term politician, Yilwatda chose Pam Botmang, the son of a former state deputy governor, as his running mate.
