The opposition People Democratic Party has hit back at the former Governor of Lagos State and presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Tinubu, said he is “a paper candidate” who is attempting to divert attention from the main issues of failure of APC government by making derogatory remarks against PDP.
In an official statement on Sunday by PDP’s spokesperson, Hon Debo Ologunagba, the opposition party said that APC’s fixation on PDP only exposes Bola Tinubu as “a paper candidate” who is very confused, nervy and intimidated by the PDP’s flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar, and the achievements of PDP.
The opposition party also added that Bola Tinubu is afraid of failure in the upcoming presidential general election as “APC is dead”, which is why he is doing everything possible to divert the attention of Nigerians from the total failure of APC government.
The opposition party further stated that “Unlike APC that is dead, the People Democratic Party is not only alive and exiting as acknowledged by Asiwaju Tinubu in his statement, but also strong, united and focused on its mission to rescue, rebuild and redirect our nation from the misrule of the APC”.
