Ahead of the upcoming 2023 general elections, the incumbent governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma is highly optimistic of the chances of the All Progressives Congress.
Speaking on Thursday at a seminar for party candidates, Uzodinma said the All Progressives Congress is the only party with structures in all 774 local government areas of the country.
Uzodinma who happens to be the chairman of the APC presidential campaign council in the South East, also disclosed that president Muhammadu Buhari has done so much for those in the South East since he assumed office.
He advised participants of the seminar to carry the party and it’s supporters along as they cannot win elections in isolation. According to him, Igbos should not be deceived by those who proclaim South East presidency but did not support aspirants from the zone during the party’s primaries.
“The All Progressives Congress is already winning and they will win in the South East. There is need for those in the South East to take their destiny in their own hands” Daily Post quoted Uzodinma as saying.
