Daniel Bwala, the spokeswoman for the Atiku Abubakar campaign, has shown that Festus Keyamo, the minister of state for labor and employment, has previously filed a lawsuit against Bola Tinubu, the APC candidate for president, alleging certificate forgery.
In a Channels TV interview on Tuesday, Bwala mentioned that Keyamo had sued the Lagos Assembly in 2002 over Tinubu’s bid to become the state’s governor at the time.
The appellant claimed, among other things, that as a legal professional, he had been confronted by some of his clients who wanted to understand certain things they considered important relating to their bid for the governorship in Lagos State.
Bwala cited a law report titled ‘Keyamo V. House Of Assembly, Lagos State (2002)’ and said, “This is the Supreme Court decision in the case I have cited and I will just read a line:
Additionally, Festus Keyamo claimed that Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the governor of Lagos State, had falsified certificates and was unqualified to hold the position.”
Keyamo, who was just named the spokesperson for the Tinubu Campaign Organization, was the appellant in that case, according to Bwala.
