APC leader Tunde Bank-Anthony said that Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party presidential candidate, was not responsible for creating the present state of Lagos.
In an interview with Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily, Bank-Anthony made this disclosure and said it is unacceptable for party members to advance the myth that Lagos state was created by the former state governor.
“We need to clear the air,” he remarked, referring to both native and non-native Lagosians. I grew up on the island and am almost 60 years old. I don’t recall ever seeing a road on the island that wasn’t paved.
I welcome any challenge to that because I can’t think of a single unpaved road on the island. Possibly Tokunbo Gbagbo is it? Possibly Glover.
