Prince Charles is the Son of her husband Prince Philip who died in 2021. Queen Elizabeth ruled as Queen for 70 years.
Many notable personalities and institutions have praised her for being a symbol of unity for the world.
Following her demise, Prince Charles will be crowned as the next King of England and Northern Ireland. He has spent alot of time in the palace and has been handling a few responsibilities to prepare him for the role.
Officially, he will be crowned in a formal ceremony. However, he will be known as King Charles III, the successor of Queen Elizabeth III.
