Sequel to the meeting of the National Executive Council of ASUU at Abuja yesterday, facts emerging from the meeting indicates that, the initial one month warning strike which expires tomorrow, the 15th of March 2022, may have been extended by eight weeks.
Though no official statement had been released by the body, feelers from the secret meeting has it that, the industrial action has been extended. Recall that, TrendyNews in its report of Sunday the 13th of March 2022, on the matter, expressed the fear that, it would only take devine Providence for the strike not to be extended.
