Chelsea Cannot Fire Graham Potter Even If He Fails To Qualify For UCL At The End Of This Season

[ad_1]

Chelsea Head Coach Graham Potter is in contention to be the First England International to win the English Premier League title. The England International is the only Manager in the Premier League right now that’s managing a Top 6 Club, with the power and capabilities to lift the English Top-flight trophy.

However, what’s not certain is whether Graham Potter can get it done this season, next season or very soon before the club’s management get tired of him and fire him.

With the squad that Graham Potter has at Chelsea, winning the FA Cup or the EFL Cup shouldn’t be a huge task but it should be unacceptable if he doesn’t guide Chelsea to the top four at the end of this season.

One would think that Chelsea will fire Graham Potter if he fails to qualify for the UCL this season but that might not be the case. Remember that Chelsea offered him a 5-year contract worth £60million, making him one of the most paid Managers in the Premier League. The Blues won’t have offer him that type of contract if they are going to fire him very soon.

I mean, it’s understandable that the club might struggle and it could affect their performance and overall results at the end of the season. If there’s any plan to fire him very soon, Chelsea won’t have offer him a lengthy contract that will cost them to pay a fortune in compensation when they decide to get rid of him.
