Thomas Tuchel‘s sack came after his team’s 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the first game of the 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League campaign.

Thomas Tuchel won against Antonio Conte, Pep Guardiola, Diego Simeone, Carlo Ancelotti, Jose Mourinho, Zinedine Zidane, Jurgen Klopp, and Max Allegri during his spell at Chelsea. Beating some of the managers in the UEFA Champions League when Chelsea won the trophy in 2021 while others especially the Premier League coaches, he won against them in the domestic league.
