The Match day six of the English Premier League was an entertaining one, the English Premier League officials also made some controversial decisions during the weekend that sent fans into a wild reaction on social media.

One of the most controversial VAR decisions during the weekend was in Arsenal vs Man United game at Old Trafford.

The Gunners thought they had taken the lead thanks to Saka and Martinelli link up, however, the goal was canceled due to a foul in the build up.

A technical look at the foul showed that the contact between the Arsenal man and Eriksen was a slight one. The decision somehow gave Man United some key confidence and the Red Devils were able to secure three points.

Another controversial decisions by VAR was when West Ham United’s goal was canceled due to a foul on Mendy.

It was one of the most controversial over the weekend, the replay showed the West Ham man actually stepped on Mendy but that wasn’t really a foul as it was a slight touch and that was the last thing he could do in such situations.

The goal was canceled and Chelsea grabbed all three points in the game.

Lastly, we have the Everton situation versus Liverpool, Everton has taken the lead against Liverpool but the goal was canceled for a off side. A replay showed that the Everton man was actually on-side.

Canceling the goal denied Everton a win at Goodison Park.
