Moment Police Officers Allegedly Of The Ekpoma Division, Ran Their Patrol Vehicle Over An Arrested Man In Handcuffs.

This video surfaced on line yesterday evening. According to the write up accompanying it, it was a case of a man who was arrested allegedly, at the University town of Ekpoma in Edo State, for driving a vehicle without plate number.

Yes, that falls within the powers of the Nigerian police to do. It was further said that, having been arrested, he was hand cuffed and laid on the road. No issues with the culprit being hand cuffed depending on the circumstances. But, why made to lay on the ground?

As if the aforementioned treatments were not dehumanizing enough, the police were seen in public glare, running their their patrol vehicle over the victim with the bystanders wailing and pounding the police vehicle over their action.
