Napoli will play host to Premier League side Liverpool at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Naples tomorrow by 20:00 WAT.

The Gli Azzuri currently occupies the first position in the Serie A table after five games where they won three and drew the other two games.

They will, however, be looking to kickstart their international campaign on the right foot when they take on Liverpool tomorrow.

Liverpool have not had the expected start to the season, as they are currently sitting seventh with nine points after six games in the league.

The Reds won just two of those matches; drew three; lost one and only kept a clean sheets on two occasions.

The two clubs have met a total of ten times in the past in all competitions including club friendlies with each club winning on three occasions and drawing the other four.

Diego Demme is the only confirmed absentee from the game through a foot injury.
