Nigerian Entrepreneur Sponsors JAMB Forms for 100 Orphans to Pursue Futuristic Courses in Nigerian Universities

South African-based Nigerian entrepreneur, Charles Awuzie, has generously sponsored the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for 100 Nigerian orphans under 21 years old to take the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and pursue selected courses in Nigerian universities.

As a cybersecurity expert and co-founder of Transhuman Coin (THC), Charles Awuzie showcased evidence of payment for the JAMB forms through his verified Facebook page, ensuring transparency in his philanthropic efforts.

He emphasized that the beneficiaries must meet both academic requirements for their chosen courses—considered futuristic and globally relevant—and the admission criteria of the respective Nigerian universities offering those courses.

The selected courses include Genetics and Biotechnology at the University of Calabar, Akwa Ibom State University, and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), as well as Computing and Artificial Intelligence at Hillside University of Science and Technology, Ekiti State.

Additionally, beneficiaries can pursue Cybersecurity at various institutions, including the Canadian University Abuja, the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), and Intelligence and Security Studies at the Afe Babalola University (ABUAD), among others.

To further motivate the beneficiaries, Charles Awuzie announced that the individual with the highest UTME score among those he sponsored will receive additional monetary rewards.

Expressing his belief in the transformative power of education, particularly in science and technology, Awuzie highlighted his commitment to uplifting the less privileged and contributing to Nigeria’s development.

He encouraged recipients of his educational support programs to seize the opportunity, study diligently, and excel academically, emphasizing the importance of education in shaping Nigeria’s future.

Awuzie also pledged to provide updates on universities benefiting from Transhuman Coin (THC) research funds and their ongoing projects in the coming weeks, showcasing his dedication to advancing education and innovation in Nigeria.
