Not Only INEC, But Everyone Of Us Have Roles To Play To Make Sure The 2023 Election Isn’t Rigged

During an interview with Channels Television, Jide Ojo was asked what he thinks about INEC saying that it will be difficult to rig the 2023 presidential election. He said that the statement is true, but everyone has a role to play in avoiding the 2023 presidential election from being rigged.

He said that the INEC has promised to play its part in making sure the election is not rigged, so for the election not to be rigged in the 2023 election, the Nigerian security forces have to do their work very well. He further asked how Nigerian security is prepared for the 2023 presidential election.

He said the security forces are to be Galant on the election day to stop anyone who’s trying to rig the election manually or by any means. They are also the ones to stop and arrest those who sell their votes. The court also has a vital role to play for the election not to be rigged.

The voters, even the candidates, and the media also have several roles to play to make sure the election isn’t rigged. INEC can not do it all alone, although the INEC will make sure that the votes are not collated manually but electronically, which will also play a part in making sure it is difficult to rig the election.
