The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has released the security updates across the six geo-political zones of the country between July and August 2022.
The federal government of Nigeria made this known via the official Twitter handle of Government of Nigeria.
According to the updates, the number of criminals arrested, arms and ammunitions recoveries and rescues made across the 6 geo-political zones of Nigeria between the months of July and August, 2022.
The statistics released by Ministry of Police Affairs indicated that a total of 773 armed robbery suspects arrested across the 6 geo-political zones.
A total of 540 suspects was arrested across the six geo-political zones in the country.
Other forms of criminal suspects arrested across the country was 3994.
The statistics also revealed the number of exhibits recovered by the security operatives across the country, while a total number of 299 victims were rescued between July and August, 2022.
