Real Madrid star is set to make history for club by becoming the 8th player to play 100 UCL games

Croatian international and midfield enigma, Luka Modric has been enjoying a blistering run of form since his dream move to Real Madrid in the summer transfer window of 2012.
The 36 year old football icon ever since making his debut for the Los Blancos has been at the peak of his career and has been consistent as a regular figure in the team where he has won several titles both at the domestic top-flight league and European competitions.
Luka Modric in the last campaign was spectacular for the Carlo Ancelotti’s side where played pivotal role to help his team win their 35th record league title to surpass Juventus’ 34 Italian Serie A title, as the club with the most in the history of the Europe’s top five leagues.
The Los Blancos also won their record 14th UEFA Champions League title in the final against Liverpool at the Stade de France in Paris thereby making it a double title in the last campaign.
With Luka Modric consistency in the Champions League, he is now just one game away from 100 UEFA Champions League appearances for Real Madrid having played a total of 99 games in the competition so far.
Luka Modric will play his 100th UCL game with Real Madrid today away from home against Celtic, a milestone that only 7 players have reached throughout the history of the club.
