Ships carrying petrol and other products expected at Lagos ports.
This is good news. As fuel scarcity and other essential commodities bite deep on Nigerians, Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, on Thursday said that 29 ships are expected to arrive at the port from March 17 to March 31.
NPA, in its daily Shipping Position, declared that, the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex laden with petroleum products, food items and others.
It went further to say that, the ships contained general cargo, frozen fish, containers, bulk sugar, butane gas, bulk wheat, bulk urea, bull gypsum, base oil, bulk salt and automobile gasoline.
