The 2022/2023 Uefa Champions League season begins this week .The first round of fixtures takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday. Real Madrid are the defending Champions and this season’s campaign promises to be an exciting one.
All the teams especially the big ones will be looking to start their Champions league campaign with a win to declare their early intentions. There are no easy games hence why we will take a look at the top 5 toughest fixtures this week.

1. Sevilla vs Manchester city
Spain host England yet again as Sevilla take on defending EPL Champions, Man City on Tuesday in the UCL. Pep Guardiola’s team are favourites but Sevilla can also stage an upset especially with the team they have.
2. PSG vs Juventus
France host Italy as PSG take on Italian giants, Juventus in the UCL on Tuesday. Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are all expected to be in action against Juventus who will be bringing the likes of Paul Pogba and Angel Di Maria. It is the biggest game of this round of fixtures.
3. Napoli vs Liverpool
Italy host England as Victor Osimhen’s led Napoli host Mohamed Salah’s Liverpool. Napoli are a good team and they can beat Liverpool who have not looked convincing so far this season.
4. Inter Milan vs Bayern Munich
Italy host Germany as Inter Milan take on German giants and Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich in the UCL on Wednesday. Inter are no pushovers but Bayern Munich are favourites to win this game.
5. Tottenham Hotspur vs Marseille
England hosts France as Antonio Conte’s led Tottenham host French side, Olympique Marseille in the UCL on Wednesday. Tottenham are expected to win but with Alexis Sanchez returning to England with Marseille, it promises to be an exciting game.
