Only Nigerians With Passion For Suffering Will Vote APC – Ex-Minister

A former minister of sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullah, has said only Nigerians with a love for suffering will vote for the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming elections.

The former minister, who is the PDP senatorial candidate for Kwara Central, said this while speaking with newsmen in Ilorin.

According to him, the APC has failed the country in all indices of development and Nigerians must be careful not to return it to power across all levels.

He said, “You have to have a love for suffering to even consider voting for APC again after how they have ruined this country.

Taking RCCG from 32 parishes to 200 nations is greatness, PFN praises Adeboye

The National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Bishop Francis Wale-Oke, has showered encomium on the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, for his contribution to the global propagation of God gospel.

Speaking during the Holy Ghost Convention 2022, Wale-Oke said that Adeboye is a typical example of outstanding greatness.

“If you are talking about anybody in the body of Christ who is outstandingly great, Adeboye is one.

“He took a classical struggling Pentecostal church with 32 parishes and now they are in 200 nations of the world.

Efforts to prevent Kuje jailbreak failed – Aregbesola

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, on Monday, said efforts by security agencies to prevent terrorists from attacking the Nigerian Correctional Service’ Medium Security Custodial Centre, Kuje, Abuja, failed despite having the intelligence.

Aregebesola, in his presentation at the investigative hearing of the House of Representatives on the jailbreak, disclosed that no fewer than 65 armed security were deployed in the facility to prevent the attack.

The minister blamed the incident on the general insecurity in the country.

Terrorists invade Katsina community, police kill two

The Katsina State Police Command has confirmed the killing of two suspected terrorists during a gun duel in the Kankia Local Government Area of the state.

PUNCH Metro gathered from residents that the terrorists, who were 11 in number, stormed the Kankia community around 2.30 am and abducted some victims.

During the invasion, the police were alerted and the police team led by the Divisional Police Officer in the area stormed the community, engaged the terrorists in a gun duel, and allegedly killed two suspects in the process.
