The Institute Of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria ICAN held its annual conference yesterday in Abuja. Amongst guests invited was Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party alongside other presidential aspirants.

Incidentally, before the arrival of Peter Obi yesterday, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa, the Vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party was already seated in the hall. Only heavy knows what would have gone through his mind, with that kind of thunderous reception accorded Peter Obi.
Of course, with this reception, you can discern while the frontline aspirant, decided to forgo the inauguration of his party’s presidential campaign council which coincided with the conference yesterday.
