Chelsea and France midfielder N’golo Kante has been ruled out for one month due to the knee injury he picked against Chelsea premier league match against Tottenham Hotspur.
Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel disclosed this yesterday in his press conference ahead of Chelsea’s opening UEFA Champions League match against Dinomo Zagreb in Croatia today.
Chelsea already signed a replacement for N’golo Kante before the transfer window closes, Chelsea signed Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria on loan with an option to buy. The Switzerland international was included in Chelsea UEFA Champions League squad list and he was also among the squad that travelled to Croatia.
Thomas Tuchel says N’golo Kante will be a big miss for the squad as he is the only defensive midfielder Chelsea have and he is the best In that position when it comes to defending and attacking for the midfield. He will be back with the squad in one month time.
